June was full of excitement and meaningful moments across our community. We kicked off with Surefire Cyber's launch at NetDiligence PHL and a jampacked RSAC 2022 featuring a joint portfolio company party, receptions with fellow VCs, veterans, and partners, and our capstone 12th Annual Executive Dinner, cohosted with Microsoft. On the Financing and M&A front, Forescout announced its merger with Cysiv, CyberCube raised funding, and we welcomed Whistic and RapidFort to the #ForgepointFamily. Bull or bear market, the mission continues.

CyberCube, the preeminent provider of data-driven cyber risk analytics to help the global cyber insurance market grow profitably, raised additional capital from existing investors to support its growth. View the announcement.

Advisory Council.

Congratulations to Forgepoint Advisory Council Member Richard Puckett on his move to Boeing, where he'll serve as Vice President and Global CISO. Richard is a serial CISO and security leader who has dedicated his career to advancing cybersecurity and industry innovation for global brands that include SAP, Thomson Reuters, GE, and Cisco.

Brian Barrios, CISO and VP of Cybersecurity and IT Compliance at Southern California Edison. A technology and cybersecurity leader with 20+ years of experience, Brian served as Executive Director, Threat Management & Intel at Southern Company and held senior roles at MITRE for over 12 years. He resides in Southern California with his family.

Jayson Noland, VP of Strategic Finance, Treasury, and Investor Relations at Cloudflare. Prior to Cloudflare, which he helped lead through its IPO in 2019, he spent over a decade as a Wall Street equity analyst covering infrastructure and security companies for institutional investors. He resides in the Bay Area with his family and a small hobby farm.
