At the 2nd Annual National Cyber Innovation Forum held at the Embassy of Australia in Washington, DC, public and private sector leaders came together to discuss digital transformation, securing AI, protecting critical infrastructure, election security, and multilateral collaboration. Financings and M&A.

Synadia, creators and maintainers of NATS.io and pioneers in distributed computing, announced $25M in Series B financing led by Forgepoint Capital with participation from Singtel Innov8, LDVP and 5G Open Innovation Lab. Funding will be used to accelerate Synadia's impact as it meets the massive demand for multi-cloud and edge computing driven by AI. Read the press release and Ernie Bio's blog post. 

Team Updates.

Alberto Yépez was invited back to give the keynote for the second edition of Google for Startups Growth Academy: AI for Cybersecurity, hosted in Munich. Entrepreneurs in Google's selective 3-month program gathered alongside industry experts to discuss growth strategies, leadership, and scaling products globally. Alberto spoke about current funding trends in cybersecurity.

Forgepoint hosted a private leadership dinner in New York City on February 27. Andres Andreu, Elena Kvochko, Ronald Jones, Kelly Lindsey Isikoff, Jerry Kowalski, Sai Iyer, Mandar Rege, Rod Aday, Ramin Safai, and Jason Healey joined members of our team for dinner and conversation.

Andrew McClure participated in a Council on Foreign Relations delegation that met with leaders at Anthropic, Autodesk, Google, Meta, OpenAI, Salesforce, the U.S. Coast Guard, The Freeman Spogli Institute, and The Hoover Institution at Stanford to discuss how technology is an engine of growth and a source of soft power on the world stage, along with AI's impact on business, culture, politics, and foreign policy.
